Does your trip need
an advisor?

12 questions Score updates live No email required Nothing stored

Not every trip needs a travel advisor. A direct flight and a known hotel? Book it yourself. But complexity compounds fast — and the trips that look manageable at the planning stage are often the ones that go sideways at 11pm in an unfamiliar city. Answer these twelve questions to find out where your trip actually sits.

How scoring works

Each question is weighted by its contribution to trip failure risk and planning complexity. Scores 0–39 indicate Standard trips where self-booking is reasonable. Scores 40–69 indicate Complex trips where advisor input reduces risk meaningfully. Scores 70–100 indicate High-Stakes trips where professional management is the difference between a successful outcome and a significant disruption.

Scoring is based on industry failure data, duty-of-care benchmarks, and the operational patterns observed across corporate and complex travel programs.

Complex or High-Stakes trips are where things go wrong.

That's also where advisors earn their fee. If your score surprised you, it's worth a conversation before you start booking.
